Most days start before we are ready for them. The messages are already waiting, the list is already long, and the first thing that gets our attention is rarely the thing that will hold us up.
#Wordfortheday is a small interruption to that. Every weekday morning I send you one Scripture, opened up a little, with a way to put it into action before the day gets away from you. It is not another devotional you have to find time for. It is one short read, standing in the kitchen if that is where you happen to be.
Where it helps, we go back to the Hebrew or the Greek, because the original often carries far more than our English translation has room for. You will never need a commentary open next to you to follow it.
