That is where the name comes from, and it is what your partnership is for: His Word spreading further than any one of us could carry it alone.
Poetry on Fire shares Scripture through various platforms, pastoral ministry, livestreams and outreach. We believe that Jesus has called us to be doers of the Word, and that our lives should become like poetry written and fulfilled by His Word.
Crusading – but with a twist
Be part of equipping the Body of Christ all over the world through the powerful “what” of Crusading – but this Crusading has a twist! Usually when we hear about Crusades, we hear about the millions of people who made decisions for Christ – and we celebrate that with all the angels in Heaven! However, from the Word, it is clear that although God’s heart beats for souls, it breaks for Discipleship!
Our focus is not just Crusading, but a powerful preparation on the ground more than six months before the Crusade, where we work with the various churches and pastors in the area. We provide guidance, discipleship, training, equipping, and planning for them all to be part of the Crusade. In this way, we know every, single person who makes a decision for Christ, will be locked into a local church, and discipled into maturity in their relationship with Christ. THAT is the Great Commission. That is not just “GO!” but it is “Go AND make disciples…” – the fullness of His Great Commission! We are not looking for converts, we are looking for disciples! Hallelujah!
Where your partnership goes
Your partnership goes directly into working with Jesus as He builds HIS church:
- Discipling pastors and churches – walking alongside pastors and local churches, strengthening them for the work in front of them.
- Pastors’ conferences – gathering, teaching and equipping shepherds so that whole congregations are fed.
- Groundwork for missions and crusades – the months of preparation on the ground with local churches and pastors, so that everyone who makes a decision for Christ is locked into a local church and discipled into maturity.
- Producing resources – materials for pastors and churches on discipleship and soul-winning, study materials for partners and friends of the ministry, and books. Books in the making: The Untamed Lion by Philip Strauss and Choose Your Hard by Marilé Strauss.

You can cancel your monthly partnership at any time, with no notice period and no cancellation fee. Because gifts are allocated immediately to a specific outreach or focus, contributions are not refundable. Nothing is posted to you: everything is delivered electronically.
