1. Who We Are
Poetry On Fire is a Gospel ministry based in Cape Town, South Africa, operating through the website poetry-onfire.com. You can reach us at hello@poetry-onfire.com or via our Contact page. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Poetry On Fire, and “you” refers to the person using this website.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using this website, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
3. What We Offer
Through this website you can make a once-off gift or set up an ongoing monthly partnership contribution. These contributions support our outreach, missions, pastoral ministry and the ongoing work of sharing the Gospel. Contributions are gifts toward ministry rather than the purchase of physical goods.
Monthly partners are given access to online partner content, such as partners-only livestreams, teaching, prayer and reporting back from the field, through the Partner Login area of this website. This access is provided electronically as a courtesy to our partners. It is not a physical product, and the content offered may change over time as the ministry grows.
4. Payment, Pricing and Security
All amounts displayed on this website are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable. Payments are processed securely by PayFast. We do not receive, process or store your card or banking details on this website. You are responsible for ensuring that the payment details and contribution amount you submit are correct before confirming.
5. Delivery Policy
We do not sell, ship or deliver any physical goods. Nothing is posted or couriered, and no delivery charges or delivery timeframes apply to any contribution made through this website.
Everything we provide is delivered electronically. Your contribution is applied to ministry work as soon as payment is confirmed, and a confirmation is emailed to the address you gave at checkout, normally immediately and in any event within 24 hours. Where your partnership includes access to the Partner Login area, that access is activated on the same basis and your login details are sent to you by email.
If you do not receive your confirmation or your access details, please contact us at hello@poetry-onfire.com and we will sort it out.
6. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel an ongoing or recurring partnership contribution at any time. There is no minimum commitment period, no notice period, no penalty and no cancellation fee.
To cancel, simply email us at hello@poetry-onfire.com and tell us you would like to stop. We will action your cancellation and confirm it to you by email. You can also view your giving history and update your details at any time from your account page. Cancellation stops all future contributions. Any contribution that has already been processed will not be reversed, as set out in the Refund Policy below, and your access to partner-only content will run to the end of the period you have already paid for.
7. Refund Policy
Contributions made through this website are non-refundable. Funds received are allocated immediately to a specific outreach or ministry focus to further the Gospel, and can therefore not be recovered or returned once given.
If you believe a payment was made in error, was duplicated, or was processed for an incorrect amount, please contact us at hello@poetry-onfire.com within 7 days of the transaction. We will investigate the transaction with you, and genuine processing errors or duplicate payments will be put right.
8. Use License
Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials on this website for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. All poetry, writing, images and other content on this website remain our intellectual property and may not be reproduced or distributed commercially without our written permission.
9. Disclaimer
The materials on this website are provided on an “as is” basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaim and negate all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.
10. Limitations
In no event shall we or our suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on this website.
11. Privacy
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these terms and conditions at any time without notice. By continuing to use this website you agree to be bound by the version of these terms that is current at the time of your use.
13. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
