“Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
Acts 4:12 NKJV
Two weeks, one new name, and everything in it points to Him. Wildfire, Co., the burning protea and the flame on the i mean nothing if they make you remember us. Jesus is the only Name to remember.
Peter said these words to the same rulers who had handed Jesus over to be crucified not long before. They had no answer for him. Luke tells us they “marveled” at Peter and John, two uneducated fishermen, “and they realized that they had been with Jesus” (Acts 4:13).
That is what a Wildfire is. You do not need the right words. You need to have been with Jesus, and it will show in how you speak, how easily you forgive and how you love without keeping count.
So this is what we mean when we sign off with Stay close to Jesus, Wildfires. Stay close to Him and to His Word, the fire shut up in your bones. Not close to us. Close to Him. The fire spreads from there. Thank you for stepping into this new season with us. Next week our new home online opens its doors, so keep an eye on your inbox.
Let His Word spread like wildfire
It starts with the fire He kindles in you. Today, spend five minutes with Jesus with no list and no requests. Just be with Him. Then carry Him into your weekend.
Stay close to Jesus, Wildfires.
