“Then Paul dwelt two whole years in his own rented house, and received all who came to him, preaching the kingdom of God and teaching the things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ with all confidence, no one forbidding him.”
Acts 28:30-31 NKJV
The third word that carries The Wildfire Co. is the Move.
Acts ends with Paul under house arrest in Rome, chained to a soldier. He cannot go anywhere, yet for two whole years he welcomes everyone who comes to him. In the Greek, the very last word of the book is akōlytōs. Unhindered. Luke ends the story of the early church with the apostle in chains and the Word running free. The man could be bound. The Word could not.
Then the book simply stops. There is no farewell and no final chapter, because the story was never meant to end with Paul. It carries on in every believer the Spirit fills.
That is what we mean by the Move. The Holy Spirit moves where He wills, and our part is not to stand in His way. “Do not quench the Spirit” (1 Thessalonians 5:19). The Greek word Paul uses there, sbennumi, is the word for putting out a fire.
Let His Word spread like wildfire
It starts with the fire He kindles in you. Today, when the Holy Spirit nudges you to pray for someone, send a message or stop and listen, do it straight away. Do not talk yourself out of it.
